The woman in the clip is channel surfing and "Strange Paradise" is the 2nd show she lands on. In the clip we hear Holly talking to Reverend Dawson in the very beginning of the series. BEER AND LOAFING IN SF - Mother Of Tears Review
Переглядів 78215 років тому
Beer And Loafing in SF presents David's thoughts on Dario Argento's Mother of Tears. I had a bunch of triva and stuff i was goign to go over, like Daria Nicolodi and Asia Argento being real life mother and daughter, but I got caught up on other things :) So this is just why I think its not the best in the trilogy but that it isnt as bad as some people would say.

Bye Bye!!! 🖐️
The truly one an only. Fan total
Frank's voice is so different to the rest of his being. It's wonderful to see him laughing and talking normally considering what he is known for playing.
I'm always saying now after I see his work to my friend who introduced me to his films, "Divines titties," and laugh. They did jiggle and made Divine so much more wholesome! ❤️ RIP Divine, I didn't know you were dead!!!
We're just versions of a multiplicity of selves. There's no bedrock I.
🙏🕊️🙏
people are so damn phony! "you look great" NO HE DIDNT. He was very obese and obviously does not look healthy!
Poor divine Them chest pains wasn't lentils ...
Wow, really took a instant dislike to the host. Does anybody know who the host it? I’d be curious to learn if the host went on to do more seasons. Not very welcoming or engaging with Divine, eye rolls to the audience and just a bit self-absorbed.
RIP Frank Silva and his voice sounded very different to what I expected .
Bob is like the same Bob in the 12 Monkeys film
He remembers me so much to Brando
Class in person. ..
The woman that speaks looks like a some charachter from the movie
So true what a loss he was an amazing person and actor
RIP Bob
You could tell when he was home because the pie truck would deliver.
His name was Glenn Milstead.
is fine art of theater quite dynamic character and pretty sure producer director its an art and brillance of sorts im not that smart but im pretty smart ile never be that smart there too smart for me but i apreaciate there art light in this world blessed devine
I was lucky enough to see Divine perform in a couple of clubs in London, probably in 1987 or so.
I listen to Devine -- a cross dresser, or drag queen -- and i listen to an anti-LBGTQ bigot (aka a MAGA), and the difference is as stark as cake frosting and vomit.
What show was this? Don't remember this guy
This was "The Late Show", which aired on FOX. Joan Rivers was the host of the show. Shawn Thompson, who played Corny Collins in "Hairspray" was a guest host several times, this being one of them (obviously 😄)
Wow, CNN really just spoiled Twin Peaks lol
Who was the host of this show??
Shawn Thompson who played Corny Collins in "Hairspray"
that pause at 1:55 just fits perfectly 😂
It's a shame he didn't take care of himself. Too much overreating and too much partying.
Listening to two of the most creepiest characters speak so nicely 😅😅😅. Awesome
легенда🥰
Why does he have white hair young
I think he bleached his own hair platinum like divine.
Ah the chest pain symptoms he’s talking about are no good.
He seemed like a legitimately wholesome and genuine soul❤
The most beautiful woman to ever walk this earth was actually an overweight balding middle aged man haha. 💔 We miss you Divine 💃
I loved Divine in all of the movies he appeared in...especially "Female Trouble," which was a favorite. If only he had taken better care of himself he's still be with us today.
Actually he wasn’t a bad looking guy, had he lost weight he could have been healthier; maybe just too much strain on his heart - I’m guessing he was large for most of his life.
I DONT LIKE SEEING BOB HAPPY
i never saw that show before . he she was just great ! humain, normal, un grand cœur et une belle âme
He was great. Obviously a very intelligent man. Awe, I still get a bit misty contemplating... An enigma...
hes 42 here? he looks like late 50s..
💙💙💙
Seems like a really nice guy. Sorry he passed just as mainstream was beginning to discover and accept him.
No entiendo el homosexulismo no me gusta.soy varon y me gusta la mujer.no un hombre vestido de mujer 🤮🤮🤮
You think youre a man? 🤮🤮🤮🤮😉
I liked Divine ❤ nose si se escribe asi .quise decir me gusta Divine amo a Glen
When I was in my early 20’s, I knew a concert promoter who would ask me to come to some of his events. I would go to the concerts of acts that I liked, and after the concert I was invited backstage to meet the performers. It was always a fun evening. I knew Divine was appearing at Taboo nightclub and really wanted to see her. I was thrilled when I found out my friend was the promoter. I had seen Divine a few times and was looking forward to meeting her. About 20 minutes after the show, security came to tell me it was my turn to go backstage. I was ushered into the dressing room, there were maybe 6 people standing around talking, and Divine looking like he did in this interview sitting in a directors chair. I wasn’t expecting to see him out of makeup. I shook his hand and told him how much I enjoyed the show and that I owned all his albums. He smiled and thanked me. He offered me an autograph which I gladly accepted. He wrote “ 88 for John, love Divine “. I never asked for autographs before because I felt it was too invasive. A week later I read in the paper he had been found dead in his hotel room in Los Angeles. I still have the autograph today. I always thought what a nice man he was.
I don’t know that I have ever seen Divine “out of character”? What’s even the term for that?
out of drag
What's the name of the host?
I almost thought the guy in the intro was divine
John Waters first saw Divine when John’s father used to drive him to school and John noticed Divine waiting at the bus stop and every day Divine would have a different hair color……a very ballsy thing for a kid to do back then !
i wonder if he would've liked the musical version of hairspray, AND John Travolta's version of Edna Turnblad.
❤❤❤❤...💋💋💋💋 he was so Divine .
The night he died he had been scheduled to tape a guest appearance the following day as Uncle Otto on the Fox network's television series Married... with Children in the second season wrap-up episode.
